Last week EML Wildfire picked up Gold for Best Event in the CIPR PRide Home Counties awards 2012 for our work with Train2Game at The Gadget Show Live.
EML Wildfire helped Train2Game bring its brand to life at the Gadget Show by giving 40 of its student games developers the opportunity to create iOS games live at the Gadget Show Live 2012 where over 100,000 show visitors were able to participate in the creative process.
As well as empowering the students to become brand ambassadors and securing endorsement in the form of judges from industry luminaries we were able to promote the event through a PR campaign targeting national, regional and gaming industry press. We also generated compelling content for Train2Game’s own communication channels, all which helped transform the company’s online reputation. You can check out the case study and results here.
Talking about the entry, the CIPR PRide Home Counties judging committee said: “A very strong entry with clear objectives and strategy. The event itself was superbly executed with consistent messaging and great use of social media to build momentum, strengthen the brand and reinforce online reputation. The use of creative and innovative tactics to deliver an interactive event should be commended, and the empowerment of brand ambassadors all contributed to make this entry the standout winner. The level of supporting media coverage was impressive and brought with it credibility for both the event itself and Train2Game. The event clearly met its objectives and succeeded in delivering a significant shift in mindsets.”
